When you are working out, your adrenaline is pumping and you just want to go on and on. Generally, people who work out to build muscles and even lose weight go all in, i.e. they work out on a daily basis. They feel that if they take a break, they will lose the momentum and eventually won’t be able to resume the workouts with the same intensity as they were doing before. However, this is not the right way to go about it. Experts’ state you need to allot time for muscle recovery if you want your workout to deliver the results you are looking for.
The thing with working out is that it’s not just about the adrenaline. You need energy and lots of it to power through. Otherwise, you won’t be able to keep up anyway and eventually lose the motivation to work out. Moreover, if you don’t give time to your muscles for recovery, you can end up overtraining.
